Hello, hello! How’s everyone this lovely Wednesday? Our new TV finally arrived. Got it from Best Buy and let them do all the work. It was a bit expensive to have them take down the old one and install the new one, but I think it was worth it. Dad wanted to be macho and do it himself, but our old one was a plasma (so, 150ish lbs) and the wall mount was being stupid, so I didn’t really want him finagling it out by himself even though I know he would’ve figured out a way. The Geek Squad guys (Michael and Jonathan, I believe) got it out pretty quick, installed a new mount Dad bought that should make life easier (it lets you pull the TV out about 26″ and swivels), then put up the new TV. They even did the initial setup of the Roku stick, so we didn’t have to worry about pairing the remote. I made sure we got signed in to all our stuff and we spent the rest of the day (Tuesday) watching TV. Anyway, here’s a stock photo of the LG G5 because I’m too lazy to have Dad take a picture of our stuff. The image quality is great so far and the white is certainly bright. I’m going to watch some more now.
Lazy Day
No Good Excuse
I’d Rather Be Reading
Hello, hello! How’s everyone this wonderful Wednesday? I have nothing to ramble about that will take more than a sentence or two, so here’s a quick update on life, then I’m going to read. 1. Turned everything into Medicaid last Thursday afternoon, so I’m just waiting on them to do whatever they’re going to do. 2. Dad’s tomatoes are growing! 3. Three doctors appointments between now (22nd as I’m writing this) and the 31st. Two for Dad (eye test and quarterly check up) and one for me (video visit with my pulmonologist). Fun. Anyway, I’ll be back next week with the regularly scheduled book review!
Sophia VS. the Water Hose
Howdy, howdy! How’s everyone doing this lovely Wednesday? I can’t think of anything to blog about, so I decided to show you Sophia and her favorite game. Just look at the cuteness. She literally begs for this whenever Dad’s near a hose. And the water has to be on the jet setting or else it’s not worth her time. Meanwhile, if Bonnie and Mardi are outside when this is going on, they run for cover. They’re not cool like Sophia. Anyway, there’s your dose of random cuteness for the week. Maybe I’ll have something to ramble about next week.
I’m Just Lazy And Would Rather Read
Hello, hello! How’s everyone doing this wonderful Wednesday? Things here are fine. I’m just tired and lazy. I thought about reviewing the restaurant we went to last week, but I didn’t think to take pictures and we mostly ordered from the specials menu, so I can’t just borrow pictures off Google. Maybe next time we go. But the next three blog posts are book reviews, so I won’t be slacking again for at least a few weeks. I really should go read those books. Well, finish reading them. So, here’s your short post of excuses for why I’m not blogging this week. Come back next week for an actual post (I never skip book reviews).

Just A Quick Reminder
Howdy, howdy! How’s everyone doing today? It’s been a while since I took a lazy day for the blog, but as I’m writing this, it’s July 4th, so I’m using that as an excuse. Woo ‘Murica! Not really. I’m not exactly proud of my country lately, but I do want a break… sooooooooooo… HOLIDAY! I’ll be vegging and possibly catching up on reading. Or just watching TV. I don’t know. Mostly, I just wanted to use this post as your annual reminder that July is Disability Pride Month. Go learn something about cripples! I’ll be back next week.
