Howdy, howdy! How’s everyone doing this wonderful Wednesday? Things here are okay. I’m managing to write and read and all of that fun stuff. It’s been a little hard, but I’m doing it. The writing is fine, it’s just the forcing myself to do it that’s hard. For some reason, I still struggle with opening the document in a timely manner and finishing early. Instead, I procrastinate until 6, 6:30, then get annoyed when I’m not done until 8, 8:30. It’s a vicious cycle. Oh well. Anyway, as I’m typing this, it’s Valentine’s Day! That basically just means it’s Tuesday since I don’t celebrate. But, I thought I would use it as an excuse to remind some people that I love them!
1. Dad! It’s us against the world. I love and appreciate you.
2. Mardi. It counts. She’s a four-legged people.
3. The Minion. I tolerate you so much. Love to the family, though!
4. Lil sis (art is hers). You deserve all the glomps.
5. Danielle. Miss your face!
Short post is short, but that’s okay. These are my peoples. I love them.
Your post made me smile. Your father is a very special person, and I can maybe see that Mardi is perhaps named after Mardi Gras! She definitely has the purple and yellow colorization on and around here of Louisiana State University colors. Did you know that one my of heroes, that I like (would say love but “War is Hell), General William Tecumseh Sherman was the first superintendent of the Louisiana military academy that later became LSU after he had to leave to save our blessed union of the USA, and unfortunately, burn out dirty South into submission. Haha
He was quite a minion! See a came full circle, as the great French filmmaker once stated, L’Circle du Rouge on the commentary of your wonderful Saturnalia, Saint Valentino photos!!!

Maybe you should call this
“The Blog of Mardi’s Purple & Gold LSU”
for doom is too dreary, and they may think it alludes to that old video game!
Keep smiling, my angel!
I even made a note yesterday to do that everyday. Ah, the melancholy no more!

Apathy and doom are my default moods!
And yes, Mardi is Mardi Gras! She was dyed like that when she was brought to the animal shelter where we adopted her. April of last year. The coloring is finally gone, but the name stuck.
Also, hi!

Mardi was brought in to the shelter like that (by someone who supposedly found her in a parking lot), so it’s really weird that no one came looking for her. People are strange.
Go sports!

That is weird to dye the dog’s hair like some kind of Mardi Gras party Queen and leave her in the parking lot. Reminds of this painter that had a little dog he found at the Minyard’s parking lot, took him, and named him Minyard. haha at least both dogs got a home in the end from a parking lot.
